2003 Cleveland Classic 1/2 Marathon  2:00:98

2004 Disney World Marathon 6:35:00 approx

** Finished with quad spasm starting at mile 16

2004 Cleveland Marathon 5:15:00 approx

  ** Finished with quad spasm starting at mile 18

2009 Cleveland Classic 1/2 Marathon 2:10:00

 ** Finished at son's pace, his first at this distance.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Immediate focus is 2010 Oct. Columbus, OH Marathon

Finish time 4 hours or under ... currently in better shape and 20 lbs. lighter than above marathons.

Within two years, I want to qualify for the Boston Marathon.  Never would have thought about it, but given my new level of fitness, its on my scope. 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Eventually run 50 mile race, run other marathons in other locations, complete a tri-athlon, and possibly ultimately complete an Iron man race.

 

Personal:

Wife and 4 kids, with one due in November.  Have coached an elementary XC team for the past 4 years, and play on a Men's soccer team indoor and outdoor.  I do take time off to recover, and cross train.
